Demolition hammers are power tools that are designed to chip and break concrete, brick and masonry. They do not offer a rotary function (unlike our range of hammers).
Demolition hammers are generally lighter than breakers to enable horizontal work, such as on walls. If you are looking to do upright demolition work, a breaker will likely be more suitable.
Since demolition hammers need to be quite large to be effective, the weight of the tool can be an important consideration when purchasing. A lighter tool can be useful to combat fatigue if used frequently, however, this can compromise overall performance. On the other hand, a heavier tool can typically tackle harder work, but will be more effort to lift.
