Air compressors are tools that convert power into pressurised air. They are most frequently used to power pneumatic (air) tools, such as nailers. Air compressors are available in both corded (240v and 110v) and cordless (such as 54v) varieties.
- The primary difference between air compressors is the output pressure achieved measured in pounds per square inch (PSI). Some also have the same PSI and the distinction is then in tank capacity.
