Poor balance would benefit from a harness support quite heavy, poor battery time expected better from 5amps .

This product is way better than expected. I new it would be the usual great quality of dewalt, but its better than i thought. The instructions on putting it together were not the best, but a Youtube video soon explained that. A really good quality garden strimmer.

Good quality product, not as pokey as a petrol strimmer but way better than most electric. Really easy to replace cord. Only downside is you only get 30 mins on a full charge.

This machine is great for the small strimming jobs. It will not compare well with a full on petrol strimmer, it just doesn't have the power. Horses for courses. It is superb for small tidying jobs, edging, paving etc next to walls around larger trees etc. This is not the tool for taking on a jungle. On the plus side, the limited power means the machine does not destroy the cord all the time against stone or brickwork. It also doesn't damage trees. As with all tools, used for the job it was designed for, it works incredibly well. The battery offers an hour plus of working time. The other bonus, is I've also got another spare battery for my other Dewalt tools. Win Win!

Product documentation is poor, why not give the url to the YouTube video? Difficult to register, too many codes needed. At the price it should come with a harness as it’s too heavy for use after a few minutes. Strimmer itself is very good and appears to be good quality.

This strimmer is by far superior to my previous one brought from screwfix, which was an Erbauer and if any thing breaks you can not get spares. Where as no issue with dewalt and after all Germany makes excellent products. This has just been added to my other Dewalt products.

Appears to be well made , probably better than the Stihl MS170 it's replacing. Only comment is that the on/off switch seems a bit fragile, only time will tell. Plenty of power and easy to start.

Good saw with plenty of power. On off switch cheap and nasty but otherwise a well made machine. Recoil starter not as smooth as other competitors but time will tell how machine performs against stihl ms181.
