Excellent bit of kit. As a new woodworker and finding my feet I find this table saw covers all my needs at present. Great tool and would recommend to anyone. Excellent addition to my growing Makita collection.

Ordered on-line from Howe tools. I was going to get a cheaper model but went for this instead. It's a beast. Not your average bench saw. Really solid. Easy to set up. Required very little adjustment. Cuts true. I haven't used all of it's functions yet but I don't expect any issues (based on current use and other Makita tools I own) at all.
What I would say is it's really aimed at above average DIYers or trades professionals. It's not a small/lightweight tool either. One person can move it but I would say, for safety, a two man lift. I had intended to use it on my work bench but in the end bought the trolley to go with it. That makes it much more portable and user friendly. I would recommend purchasing the trolley, as an additional accessory. Bit pricey (at least £180.00) but again, like the saw (also not cheap), is a great bit of kit. Simple lift and raise mechanism, plus wheels, means you can bring the saw to the work rather than have to bring the work to the saw.
I gave it 4 star for price as it is expensive but...you get a big piece of kit for the money.

Removing the blade is cumbersome because the blade guard requires a special tool to remove a screw. I know it’s about safety but if you don’t know how to use it... you shouldn’t buy it..Apart from that it seems a good bit of kit..time will tell!

Looks an excellent piece of kit not had time to use it yet to its full potential. The instructions were clear and precise.
