When choosing between a pruner and a lopper, you should consider the following:
- Powered pruners are ideal for removing foliage and branches from trees and bushes. The pruners we have in stock have long poles, enabling you to branches that are high up from the safety of the ground. We have pruners that attach to power units for garden multi-tools, and self-powered pruners. You can purchase either electric pruners or petrol pruners depending on your requirements. If you need to prune high up, we have a number of extension poles available that can help you with a longer reach.
- For thicker tree branches a pruner may not be powerful enough, in these instances a lopper will probably be the best solution. Although powered loppers do not offer the length of a pole pruners, they are great tools for cutting through thicker tree branches and logs. The loppers we have available have jaws that are supported by a powered cutting chain, enabling both protection to the user and controlled cutting of the object.
