When selecting from our range of chainsaws it is important to consider the following:
- If you are a homeowner who will only use a chainsaw a few times a year for light cutting, a lower-powered electric chainsaw will probably be best suited to you. This may include 18v cordless chainsaws or 240v corded chainsaws.
- If you are a professional tree surgeon, or need to cut down medium-sized trees, a higher-powered electric model or a petrol-operated chainsaw is recommended. Our petrol chainsaws are powered by engines ranging from 20cc to 35cc, and our higher-powered electric chainsaws use either twin 18v, 36v or 54v rechargeable li-ion batteries.
The chainsaws we stock have bar lengths from 25cm to 40cm, with the larger the size being suited for cuts of wider diameters. All the chainsaws available are from the most popular manufacturers of garden machinery including; Makita, Black & Decker, Bosch, Dewalt and Hitachi.
