Bosch GBH 4‑32 DFR Multidrill
The Bosch GBH 4‑32 DFR Multidrill is a heavy‑duty SDS‑Plus rotary hammer designed for fast drilling, chiselling and multi‑material versatility. Its quick‑change chuck system allows instant switching between SDS‑Plus hammer drilling and standard cylindrical bits, while the vibration‑controlled design and robust aluminium gearbox housing make it suitable for demanding construction and installation work.
Key Features:
• DFR Quick‑Change System: SDS‑Plus chuck and 13 mm keyless chuck included for rapid bit changes
• Vibration Control: Reduced vibration for longer, more comfortable operation
• Aluminium Gear Housing: High durability and heat resistance for continuous heavy use
• Rotation Control Clutch: Protects user and tool if the bit binds
• Vario‑Lock: 12‑position chisel angle adjustment
• 3‑Function Operation: Hammer drilling, rotation only, chiselling
• Variable Speed Trigger: Precise control for drilling and chiselling
• Reverse Function: Useful for removing bits and backing out screws
• Compatible with Bosch Dust Extraction Attachments: Supports cleaner working environments

Lighter SDS‑Plus hammer with excellent vibration control and faster drilling in smaller diameters.
An introduction to hammers: Hammers combine a pulsing pressure action, or 'hammer blow', with the rotating of a bit to break through denser materials. The SDS system was originally invented in 1975 by Bosch and translates as 'insert, twist, fits'. The slots on SDS bits enable the back-and-forth hammer blow action whilst still rotating. The drill bit is locked but at the same time can rotate. This system transfers the energy that the hammer builds up internally through to the tip of the drill bit without damaging the chuck. To choose between hammers: There are two considerations when choosing between hammers. Firstly; whether you require the two standard functions of a rotary action (ie drilling) & a rotary hammer action or the 3 functions of drilling, rotary hammer action & hammer only action. Secondly, whether you require the smaller SDS plus shank size drill bit or the larger SDS max shank size. These tools use smaller SDS plus shank size drill /chisel bits and have a lever that selects between 3 functions of drill, rotary hammer & hammer only action. Click here to see all our hammers
